What is the difference between chauffeur service and taxi?

Generally, the chauffeur service uses black luxury cars driven by certified professional chauffeurs. Our drivers are trained in driving skills and etiquette in order to perform at the highest level. While taxis often arrive late, chauffeur service will arrive fifteen minutes early in a clean car. While they wait, the driver can prepare for the road ahead and traffic conditions. All cars come with water bottles, wipes, mints and magazines. The driver keeps a low profile and will not communicate with guests unless he so desires.

Is it a problem for a driver to work long hours and spend a lot of time waiting?

The average client (working) day is long and intense. Take, for example, the CEO of a multinational company who works from early morning until late at night. In a sense, the driver's day matches the customer's day. This means that they are accustomed to waiting for long periods of time and working long hours. Of course, it is possible to use the driver for other tasks during this downtime.

Do you monitor departure and arrival times for flights yourself?

We check all current departure and arrival times via one of the respective airport apps. Doing so ensures that we are always aware of any delays or other unique circumstances. For private flights, we maintain contact with FBO to ensure we are notified of any changes.

Where will the driver meet the guests for the airport transfer?

Twenty-four hours before the start of the service, the booker will receive an email with information about the driver and vehicle. Upon arrival of the flight, the driver will park his car within walking distance and wait for guests near the gate exit. When the plane lands, a text message will be sent with the driver's information and location. They will have an iPad displaying the (company) name of the customer. It is also possible to display a logo.

What does a private driver wear?

We use the same dress code all over the world. By default, drivers will wear a dark suit with a light-colored shirt and tie. On request, the driver can also dress in casual (elegant) clothes.
